About Creo Illustrate
CreoIllustrate enables you reuse CAD data to generate interactive, animated3D technical illustrations that communicate complex service informationeasily and accurately. The 3D illustrations you create can be saved andpublished in a variety of 2D and 3D graphic formats.
With Creo Illustrate, you can:
- Import 3D data from many different types of mechanical CAD (MCAD) files.
- Manipulate objects, such as parts and assemblies, in a 3D graphic view or a structure tree.
-Associate an illustration with an imported parts list or service billof material (sBOM), then auto-generate callouts based on the imported -list"or on an item list you create.
- Add 2D and 3D graphic library assets"such as tools, fixtures, and labels"to your illustration.
- Animate your illustration starting with an animation template.
- Kit and combine parts, assemblies, tools, supplies, and other sBOM items.
- Create multiple figures in a single illustration file. The figures can have different:
3D model view orientations and zoom levels.
Parts, assemblies, kits, and other sBOM items shown as opaque, phantom (semi-transparent), or hidden.
Render modes, such as shaded with optional thick/thin edge lines and hidden lines removed.
Exploded views and section views.
Annotations, such as callouts, notes, symbols, stamps and explode lines.
